At this year’s CCD event, we had the pleasure of being observed by the National Construction Career Days Committee. For those of you who may not know, National Construction Career Days is an established national non-profit organizing developed by the FHWA over 13 years ago. This organization has proven highly successful in promoting the transportation industry and the careers it offers to America’s youth on a national level. We at CCD Central Florida are proud to have been observed and are currently seeking a partnership with the organization to further our efforts of promoting the construction industry amongst our local youth. When sending our CCD Annual Report to them in May, this was their response:
This must be the best CCD report we have ever received. It's obvious that a lot of time and effort was put into it. I commend Central Florida for providing such an informative and well-designed report. We'll get it up on the NCCDC website and draw attention to it in the next newsletter. Great job!
